As a practitioner, she specializes in advancing employee engagement, leadership development, executive coaching, public speaking, and empowering women in leadership roles across government, business, institutions, and nonprofit organizations.

Education & Credentials

Dr. Elwin holds a Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Leadership with a focus on Business and Consulting from Northwest University’s Center for Leadership Studies. She also holds two Master’s degrees—one in Applied Leadership Studies and the other in Sociology—as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology with a certification in Conflict Resolution.

Global Contributions & Leadership Roles

As a global thought leader and practitioner, Dr. Elwin has spoken at several international leadership conferences, including events in Geneva, Switzerland; Portsmouth, United Kingdom; Washington, DC; and numerous virtual platforms. She served as a champion for the Dissertation Warriors mentorship community for doctoral women at Northwest University and was a member of the Executive Leadership Board for Leadership and Peace at the International Leadership Association.

Coaching & Consulting Focus

With a primary focus on assessment, coaching, and leadership development, Dr. Elwin has guided leaders from emerging businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies—including those in senior executive roles.

Her passion for cultivating leadership excellence led to the establishment of Elwin Innovative Global Consulting in 2022. She now empowers individuals and organizations through coaching, public speaking, workshops, and business consulting services.

Mission & Impact

As a respected coach, advisor, and strategic planning expert, Dr. Elwin is known for her authenticity and commitment to empowerment. She currently serves as an Advisor for the Women in Leadership Certificate Program at the University of Richmond.

Her mission is to help individuals and organizations reach their highest potential—even in the face of challenges—by offering tailored coaching, strategic networking, mentorship, and community engagement. In addition to her speaking and consulting work, Dr. Elwin has authored peer-reviewed articles and scholarly works, culminating in her doctoral dissertation completed in 2022.
